TCA members are discovering how easy it is to pay employees
electronically. The employees get their money quicker and cheaper and can avoid
check cashing and wire transfer fees. Employers avoid the hassle of signing
checks and delivering them to job sites. Plus employers use the cash card for
per diem or company expenses locally or at out of town locations. The card uses
the MasterCard system so transactions are handled quickly and safely.

"Construction Power" program has allied with Association Power to provide volume
electricity purchasing power for TCA members. In areas of the state where there
is electricity competition under recent electrical deregulation legislation,
Construction Power uses aggregation through Association Power to secure the best
prices available in the market. The areas of Texas where deregulation and
competition is permitted include most of the large metropolitan areas and much
of the rural area of Texas. A TCA member should check with TCA to determine if
its business is in a competitive area and receive a free quote from
Construction Power.
